Wish I could stay longer and fully use everything this place has to offer! A little on the pricey side but hey, it’s Norway, one of the most expensive countries in the world. And you can’t put a price on the comfort, as well as peace and quiet that you feel upon checking in at this relatively newly renovated property. Located right on the water it’s equally close to Bergen international airport and historic Bergen city center, however rush hour traffic may slow you down a bit. The owners - very nice couple - provide light breakfast in the morning, there’s also a garage so no need to worry about parking.

Spacious room with sitting area (couch and desk); fridge and ironing board/iron INSIDE the room! Most comfortable bed of all the places we stayed during our ~2 weeks’ travels. Spacious bathroom and great shower. Would welcome face/wash cloths for the shower but most of the hotels we stayed didn’t offer these either. We had read prior reviews and did pack our own -thankfully! So close to the airport (1.5 miles) and also close to many restaurants; huge mall too. Huge and good breakfast! Great place to stay in Bergen!

No breakfast was provided. Every additional request meant an addition to the bill. Staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. We liked the heated bathroom floor. Rustic but clean room. The location was quiet. Great place for camping guests to stay and have a nice hot shower, but not upper class by any means.
